I’ve asked, in the past, about whether you more often buy your books, or get them from libraries. What I want to know today, is, WHY BUY?
Well! I buy all my books :-)
I am addicted to them and seeing them adorning my book-shelf[ i don't have any lol) gives me a HIGH! I took to reading this September, after stopping it Years ago! And hence the name of the blog :) and since then, all of the books I have read[ except 2] I have bought with my hard earned money ...lol!
I know it is crazy :) But I can't help it! Talk about addiction :) And I love it!
I ofcourse 'lend' my books out to friends too! But seldom get it back, but that's alright :D

I have that same addiction; amassing books gives me a high, too. At least the only thing it hurts is my wallet... :)

Well Veens--there are worse addictions! LOL. I'm so glad that you are giving reading a chance and enjoying it! I buy my books too, although I try to keep a budget and buy used ones. Now you just need to save up for a bookshelf! :D

Should I bother asking for ebook editions from publishers who don't want to pay for shipping international? I was going to try that if asking for a physical book doesn't work (physical books are better, I think), but I don't know how international entrants feel about ebooks.
Any thoughts?
